MIRCal - Medical Information Reporting for California
OSHPD's secure internet data collection system for inpatient discharges, emergency department encounters, and ambulatory surgery encounters. The MIRCal online system was developed in response to SB 1973 (Chapter 735, 1998) for required reporting of patient data.
Due to system upgrades and maintenance MIRCal will be temporarily unavailable June 30, 2009 after 4:30 PM through July 14, 2009. We anticipate opening 10 AM on July 15. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience. Manually entered data that has been saved in MIRCal will be available when MIRCal is brought back online.
Regulatory Update: The proposed Principal Language Spoken and Present on Admission regulations were approved by the Office of Administrative Law, filed with the Secretary of State, and made effective on November 13, 2008.
