Description: The Cal-SEARCH sites provides 4 - 6 week student/resident rotation experiences, identifies staff or individuals who will function as preceptors and mentors, oversees the student/resident community project, provides pre-and post-survey rotation information, and receives a $1,000 stipend per student/resident hosted at their site upon completion of their rotations and community project.
- Health Careers Training Program (HCTP) Mini Grants
Description: Provides funding for activities that provide direct and indirect program support for underrepresented and/or economically disadvantaged students to pursue careers in the health industry.
- Song-Brown Health Care Workforce Training Act Description: Provides financial support to family practice residency, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and registered nurse (RN) education programs throughout California.
