Because Facilities Development Division (FDD) provides health and safety services and construction related services regarding hospital and skilled nursing facilities, we will continue to perform our business to the extent possible in accordance with the provisions of Governor Newsom’s Executive Order.
The health and wellness of our staff is of utmost importance, therefore, for the majority of staff work will be accomplished by teleworking. It is expected that there may be some delays in processing projects as we work through these different scenarios for performing our duties and responsibilities.
Available FDD field staff will visit construction projects that are ongoing, visit sites for COVID-19 related measures, or for projects deemed essential by state or local governments. The timeliness of field visits may be impacted as staff have been directed to prioritize COVID-19 related work above all other site visits as the OSHPD FDD Emergency Operations Center has been activated.
FDD appreciates your support and understanding as it works through this unprecedented health-related emergency. We will post updates should there be a need to make changes to our policy and approach to doing business.
