Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare through the Hospital Supplier Diversity Program. This legislatively mandated program will report on hospitals’ contracting with minority, women, LGBT, and disabled veteran owned businesses.

Hospitals are uniquely positioned to build relationships within the communities they serve through the development, inclusion, and utilization of certified minority, women, LGBT, and disabled veteran business enterprises whenever possible.

You can help establish this program by joining the 11-person Hospital Diversity Commission, and make recommendations to the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) director and the hospital industry on ways to increase procurement with diverse suppliers and provide recommendations to OSHPD for the submission and reporting of hospital supplier diversity statements.

Get more information on the program and learn how to apply to be a commission member on our website.
